Alina O’Dwyer (was born in 1983) living and working in Prague, Czech Republic.
Alina has studied art in a private art studio in Prague with a focus on contemporary painting and academic drawing. She also did additional education in art courses in Central Saint Martins College of Art in London.
Alina’s work has been exhibited Worldwide and her art pieces have been acquired in private collections in Europe, North and South America, Middle East.

Alina is a former professional clinical psychologist, and she has changed careers to become a renowned contemporary artist. Her art primarily focuses on reflecting the external world conveyed by various characters on canvas.

The main character of her work is the Woman. Her female characters are not impersonating just a Woman, but a strong Personality who is ready to stand for herself and for the people she loves.
She artist statement says: “We are all conditioned by “social norms” and the media portrayals about how women should be perceived. Yet, in 21st century, women are breaking these patterns. It is my intention to break patterns with my Art. It is not just a beautiful piece of art, it makes sense and delivers a message.”
