Igor Kotnik (born in Ljubljana) – artist from Slovenia.

Graduated from the School of Design and Painting in Ljubljana (1979) and went on to explore all possibilities of artistic design and artistic creation.
"As an artist I am constantly inspired by the world around me and the limitless possibilities of creating something beautiful in all possible color combinations. I have been involved in the arts for as long as I can remember and my passion for painting, sculpture, woodworking and other art forms has grown and evolved.
I paint with acrylics, oil on canvas and dry pastels on paper. A little of everything, but mostly abstract.
My early collection "Roosters" was exhibited at a group exhibition of young artists at the Modern Gallery in 1969 (an ink painting of a rooster). My first solo exhibition in mixed media was in 1984 at the M-turist gallery in Ljubljana. Later I exhibited my works from time to time in smaller companies. I am also a member of the Salvadoran Club of the AAMI Corporation."
The works are in private collections in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Germany, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands.
