Andrey Gordeev (born in 1971). Lives and works in Montenegro.

He graduated from an art school (1986), an art and industrial school (1990), a pedagogical university, where he studied teaching specialty in fine arts and world art culture (1996).
Since 2015, he began to devote a lot of time to his work and the development of his own style. He actively participates in exhibitions and presentations of his works.
Since 2020, Andrey Gordeev has been living in Montenegro, where he continues to be creative and find inspiration in the surrounding nature and culture of this country. His work has an original style and is inspired by his travels and encounters with different cultures.
The works are also in private collections in Armenia, Israel, Germany and Montenegro.

Andrey's desire to draw and become an artist came from childhood. After graduating from an art school and obtaining the necessary knowledge in the field of classical fine arts, he continued his education. He received the profession of a woodcarver, and then graduated from the university with a degree in painting and world art culture. At that time, he worked as a teacher in a children's art school and continued to create paintings.

Education in the field of applied arts left its mark on Andrey's creative style. With his brush and palette knife, he seems to "cut" the image as if it were made of wood. Intentionally right angles and lines, as well as their intersections, resemble chamfers created by a cutter. The decorativeness of the works is partly borrowed from various styles of carving.

Favorite artists who influenced Andrei's work are the recognized masters of painting and graphics Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso and Van Gogh.
