Paul Chmaroff Collection is rarely shown to the wide public and some paintings were presented to the audience for the first time this Saturday. Paul Chmaroff is sometimes called the “Russian Renoir”, or the Russian Impressionist. There is also something of Corot in his dark green landscapes and a bit of Joaquim Sorolla in the sunny scenes. However, all these influences are at the heart of a very personal magical style. Lightness and joie de vivre, this is what emanates from his paintings, and I think it’s more than relevant nowdays.
Some of Chmaroff’s paintings are in the Museum of Russian Impressionism in Moscow, so he still can be seen in Russia.
Olfactive signature created by HOC parfum and the sound of crystal bowls presented by Magnum Yoga Retreat accompanied the exhibition.
The ideas for organizing the event belong to two charming ladies Katerina Semenova creative director and Julia Platonova commercial director of collection Paul Chmaroff.

Une collection privée française de tableaux de l’artiste russe Paul Chmaroff a été exposée à Paris week-end dernier
La collection Paul Chmaroff est rarement montrée au grand public et certaines peintures ont été présentées samedi dernier pour la première fois. Paul Chmaroff est parfois appelé le “Renoir russe”, ou l’impressionniste russe. Ses paysages verdoyants rappellent aussi parfois la peinture de Corot, et ses toiles ensoleillées – Joaquin Sorolla. Cependant, toutes ces influences sont au cœur d’un style magique très personnel. Légèreté et joie de vivre émanent de ses peintures, et nous parlent encore aujourd’hui au 21ème siècle.
Certains tableaux de Chmaroff se trouvent au Musée de l’impressionnisme russe à Moscou, en Russie.
Une signature olfactive crée par HOC parfum et le son des bols de cristal représente par Magnum Yoga retreat ont accompagné l’exposition.
Cette événement a été organisé sous l’égide des charmantes Katerina Semenova et Julia Platonova.
