Uliana Saiapina

Uliana Saiapina

Uliana Saiapina (b. 1994) is a conceptual and anime-inspired artist currently based in Belgrade, Serbia. Her artistic path has been shaped by experiences of emigration, which deeply influence the themes of transformation, inner struggle, and resilience in her work.

She works with acrylics, oils, texture paste, and mixed media, creating symbolic, textured, and emotionally charged pieces. Her motto, “The absence of monotony,” reflects her drive to explore diverse styles and techniques — from visceral abstract symbolism to vivid, character-driven narratives inspired by anime.

Saiapina’s works have been exhibited internationally, including Art Shopping at the Louvre, Paris (2024), where her painting was acquired by a collector within the first hour of the fair, and group exhibitions in Rome, Izmir, and other cities. In 2025, her works will again be featured at the Louvre and in Istanbul.

Her paintings are held in private collections in Turkey and Serbia.
