Svetlana Fedorova – contemporary artist.
Svetlana’s journey into abstraction commenced during life drawing sessions in Italy. There, the allure of representational objects began to fade, making way for the emergence of abstract splashes of color and dynamic lines.
As I progressed, Svetlana increasingly veered away from recognizable objects, embracing color as an independent entity within my artistic language.
For the past 3 years, Svetlana has delved into pure abstraction, drawn to the freedom it offers. Consciously breaking away from traditional norms, she has abandoned canvas stretcher bars and conventional painting techniques. Instead, Svetlana now works on expansive, unprimed canvases, allowing herself the liberty to experiment with intricate textures and cutting-edge materials.
Svetlana studied Basics of Fine Art at the British School of Art & Design in Moscow (2018-19)
She has been studying at the art studio since 2019.
