Ka.Ty Deslandes (born 1949, France) is a French mixed-media artist born near Paris. Her work combines painting, collage and natural materials, exploring the relationship between humanity, nature and the landscapes of the Indian Ocean.

Her first major body of work, Art Yoga (1971–1980), was inspired by Indian spirituality, particularly Art Yoga by Ajit Mookerjee, together with the writings of Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee. During this period she developed a visual language centred on harmony, meditation and the spiritual dimension of art.

Between 1984 and 1986, Deslandes lived and worked in Vanuatu on a cultural mission commissioned by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help develop contemporary Melanesian art. From 1987 to 1993 she lived in Mayotte, and in 1994 established her studio on Réunion Island, where the landscapes of the Indian Ocean became a lasting source of inspiration.

Throughout these years she incorporated natural materials into her works, including jute, driftwood, rusted metal, cardboard, coconut fibre, sand, coral, bark, shells, dried seaweed, rope, bamboo and cuttlefish bone, creating richly textured surfaces that blur the boundary between painting and sculpture.

Since relocating to Uzès, Deslandes has remained active through exhibitions and cultural projects. In 2019 she founded the Batandélam Association, promoting artistic dialogue between generations, social groups and cultures. In 2026, the association presented the exhibition “Folies” at the Musée KTD in Uzès, where Deslandes also exhibited works from her personal collection.
