Eduard Grigoriev
Eduard Grigoriev (born in 1967) is a Russian painter associated with the late Soviet period.
His works, dated to the late 1980s, are present on the European art market and reflect an interest in everyday urban scenes and social environments. The use of Cyrillic inscriptions on the reverse of his canvases confirms the Russian origin of his practice and situates his work within the cultural context of the USSR at the end of its final decade.
