Ahmedov Zakir was born in 1955 in Baku (Azerbaijan).
From 1978 to 1988, he studied at the faculties of sculpture at the Azim Azimzadeh Azerbaijan State Art College and at the M. Aliyev Azerbaijan State Art Institute.

Zakir is an author of many monuments. Sculptures of Zakir Ahmedov are available in private collections of many countries of the world - Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, South Africa, France, Germany, Great Britain, United States of America, etc.
