Mikhail Baranovskiy (born in 1963) – artist, writer, playwright and screenwriter.

"In 1985 I graduated from University, Faculty of Journalism. Then I worked in various media. I wrote film scripts and plays for the theatre. I am the author of about a dozen books for both adults and children.
Since 2014 I have been living in Israel and focusing exclusively on painting. Over the years I have had exhibitions in Germany, France and, of course, Israel. I collaborate with many online galleries. In paintings I put the basic principles of dramaturgy. My works are filled with metaphors, unexpected plot twists, multi-layered meanings and readings. I have a unique, individual, recognizable style. I work in the genre of philosophical expressionism."
