Laura de Lucia

Laura de Lucia is an artist-photographer based in Paris. After studying fine arts, applied arts and photography, she obtained her BTS from the Auguste Renoir school and quickly began her career as an assistant for photo shoots in the fashion world.

Cinema remains one of her main sources of inspiration, with a particular interest in sets, whether captured in photography or video. Laura has also gained experience as an assistant set designer in recent years, where she expresses her talent through various mediums, such as photography, video, collage and scenography. In 2019, Laura staged her first exhibition, Dreamer, in the Parisian boutique Agogogang (Paris 4e) with an installation in which videos and photographs enliven a setting reminiscent of a teenage girl's bedroom.

Her work in film and photography takes her on an unexpected journey, and that of New York on an unforgettable introspective shoot: “Dear Mom, I'm in NYC everything is ok. xoxo Laura” (2022, ed. Filtreditions) is the culmination of this professional journey that has become personal through the memories created and shared.
