Domashnikov Boris
Collector artist Boris Domashnikov (1924-2003) - Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, member of the Board of the Union of Artists of the Bashkir ASSR (since 1957) and even an honorary citizen of Ufa.
During the war, he worked in the art workshop of the city department of agriculture - he wrote slogans, posters, soldiers' funeral plaques. Then he graduated from the Ufa Theater and Art School (1950). He taught drawing at school, even worked as a decorator in a puppet theater.
Associated with the artist's name is the concept of a "pure" landscape, where the plot does not carry a semantic load, and the goal is to expressively convey the author's deeply personal, chamber emotional experiences.
The artist's works are in many museum (about 40) collections and private collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Academy of Arts.
