Alexey Alpatov (born in 1968) is a contemporary artist.
He graduated from the Institute of Radio Electronics and Automation, but decided to devote himself to painting, which he mastered on his own.
Alpatov singles out contemporary Chinese artists Yang Pei-Ming and Zhang Xiaogang, American artists Robert Longo and Andrew Wyatt, and Russian-American author Yuri Cooper.
Since 1992 he has held more than twenty exhibitions in New York, Lisbon, Zurich, Russia. Since the early 2000s, he has been participating in international contemporary art fairs.
