Vasily Vasiliev (born 1954) – works in painting, drawing, object art, installation.

He studied at the graphic arts department of the Pedagogical Institute (1977-1982). Graduated from the department of monumental and decorative Art of the Art Department of the Academy of Arts (1992).
Since 1992 he worked as a senior lecturer, and since 1999 as an associate professor of the design and fashion department of the VSTU.
His works are in museums and private collections in Germany, Scotland and other countries.
