Ekaterina Samitina (born in 1985, Samara region) is a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia.

"My profession is a lawyer, but my career is not related to the law. In 2016, I became a mother for the first time and devoted myself completely to my family, but as soon as I had free time, I wanted to realize myself.
In 2019, I attended painting, drawing, and watercolor classes. I watched online lessons from portrait artists. I was so impressed and inspired that an artist can bring a canvas to life that I decided to paint the Portraits.I draw every day and all my free time… My hobby is a way to realize my feelings and emotions. This is my world to have fun and be in the spotlight. I like to see the emotions of people who take my paintings in their hands. This is surprise, admiration and a desire to consider the details. I work hard, I have very ambitious goals, grandiose plans for the future.»
In 2020, Catherine's works were presented at the Contemporary Mood exhibition in London at the Boomer Gallery. One of the paintings was sold on the first day of the opening of the exhibition.
More than 15 works of the artist are presented in private galleries.
