Oleg Lyagachev (born in 1939) is an artist and writer.

In 1974-75 the artist takes part in two Leningrad exhibitions of nonconformist artists in the recreation center Gaza and the recreation center "Nevsky". After marrying a French woman, he receives permission to leave the USSR and at the end of 1975 ends up in France. He actively participates in well-known exhibitions of Russian unofficial art: in the Palais de Congres, in Paris, in the Venice Biennale in 1977, in Vienna, London, New York, Tokyo, etc.
