Aizenshtat Alexander

Alexander Aizenshtat (born 1951) is an artist and religious figure.
In the late 1960s, he studied painting in the studio of the famous watercolorist S. P. Skulsky. The young artist discovered the world of Western art, unusual for the Soviet viewer, in the halls of the Pushkin Museum, which he visited quite often and even copied some works, "so that Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Picasso can be called his mentors."
