Alex Oliger (born in 1965) is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia (since 2000), a member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists "Free Culture Association" (since 2009), a member of the Paris Union of Artists "Les Seize Anges" (since 2011).

Graduated with honors  Donetsk State Art College majoring in Design (1985), then the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Russian State Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg (1993).
Teaches painting, associate Professor of NovSU.

The artist's paintings are in the collection of the State Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), the Museum of Nonconformist Art of the Pushkinskaya 10 Art Center (St. Petersburg), the State Novgorod Regional Museum-Reserve (Novgorod), the State Museum of Artistic Culture of the Novgorod Land (Novgorod), the Pskov State Museum-Reserve, the Murmansk State Art Museum.
In private collections in Russia and abroad, the largest of which is the collection of Vice President of Samsung (South Korea) Mr. Lee Gil Han (42 paintings).
