Oksi Murr (born in 1975) – practices working in various media (painting, textile sculpture, digital and paper collages). Lives and works in Turkey.

Oksi's works are a synthesis of puppet art culture, on the one hand, and attempts to introduce street art style with elements of junk art, on the other. The images of the artist refer to fairy tales, seemingly familiar from childhood, but nevertheless they are the fruit of her imagination, which leads the viewer away from established and familiar stereotypes into personal mythology. The artist creates worlds filled with surreal motifs, reminiscent of colored dreams or hallucinogenic states. The main sources of inspiration are fairy tales with a "double bottom", creepy stories, dreams and secret signs.
“I want to capture the beauty of decay, which can be sad and repulsive. But for me it's a refined aesthetic."
Found children's toys, vintage jewelry, souvenirs, badges, stones - these and other unnecessary things in the works of the artist acquire a new status of museum exhibits. Oksi promotes conscious consumption, glorifying upcycling as the aesthetics of the future.
Since 2008, he has been actively participating in international puppet art exhibitions. She was awarded diplomas as a prize-winner in thematic competitions.
