Elena Leontieva is a member of the International Academy of Contemporary Art.

Education: graphic designer, art school.
The author works mainly in oil and acrylic techniques. The artist was cramped within the boundaries of society, family, city. Painting has always been what made the heart beat, a source of energy. The author's work considers as the themes of subpersonalities, between which the individual switches, the ability to grow and create subpersonalities of his own free will; questions of finding a person of peace, strength, energy, support and love within himself, questions of the formation of a personality, a breakthrough through interfering mental boundaries; and active interaction with the world and influence on it, as an equal unit; escape themes.
The plots of the paintings are a wide range of experiences: from a state of sweet bliss to a cry of despair; from filled with passion, sun-drenched, to states of piercing pain; from meditative states to frenzied energy
drive. The paintings are both understandable in mood and complex in the versatility of interpretation for the individual experience of the viewer. They often convey the state between dream and reality, emphasized by a mix of classical painting techniques and many intricate patterns, sometimes almost turning into chaos, exaggeratedly saturated colors and a bright sensual component.
