Kazmina Svetlana

Svetlana Kazmina (born in 1994, Donetsk)

Since childhood, she loved to draw and spent all her free time with brushes and paints in her hands. In 2002, she entered an art school and successfully completed it. In 2013, she left her studies and decided to devote all her time to art. “The idea that I want to connect my life with creativity came to me when, as a child, I discovered this magical world of art while in my nanny's studio. The walls covered with paintings became my universe, the abode of peace and happiness.” Faced with lack of development and depression due to the war in 2014 in Donetsk, Svetlana moved to Moscow and worked for a while in another field. The thirst to create and convey her thoughts to people through paintings made her return to creativity. The war opened for her a new look at existing things, the understanding that in this world there is nothing more stable than ourselves for ourselves. For the last 2 years, she has been actively attending master classes and internships with various Russian artists. Works mainly with acrylic, as it allows you to work quickly and pleases with a large number of new works.

“My paintings are a Pandora's box with all your happy memories and pictures from life. Each person lives in the moment "here and now" and in the warmth of memories that warm him. I want you to feel the whole world of saturated bright colors that prevail in my works, and see a piece of yourself in them. Each of my paintings is my warm memory, which I want to share with you. I want to convey my mood to the world so that, looking at my works, you will be filled with a sense of peace and focus on the beautiful, filled with the desire to stop for a minute in this crazy stream of life, catch your breath and just contemplate. In my works I embody love for nature, love for animals and the world that gave us life. Happiness is to be able to create something, enjoy the process, see the result of your creation and share it with others.”
