Sylvie Dupic

Sylvie Dupic

Sylvie Dupic (born in 1976, Paris) has been practicing photography for as long as she can remember.

She began as a stage photographer working in black‑and‑white film, then left for Africa, where she introduced children to photography by encouraging them to explore and reinterpret their surroundings. She carried out these projects in Niger, Mali, Madagascar, Togo, and Burkina Faso, and several exhibitions emerged from these journeys.

Based in the 18th arrondissement of Paris for more than twenty‑five years, she documents neighborhood life by accompanying initiatives led by local and cultural associations. In 2018, she self‑published the book Les commerçants de mon quartier. In 2023, Sylvie released La Porte de Montmartre en mouvement in collaboration with the association Image et Lien.

Sylvie regularly responds to commissions from companies, communication agencies, and institutions in France and abroad. She also develops personal projects, participates in exhibitions, and offers numbered, signed limited‑edition photographic prints for sale.
